Hey Guys!

So as Christmas has come and gone we now turn our attention to New Years Eve, 2018 and all that comes with it.  You must be wondering why this blog post sounds like the Apocalypse is upon us. Don’t worry it’s not about all that doom and gloom. The title of my blog post is taken from the very last episode of one of my favourite series of all time… The O.C! I was watching the last episode of the series earlier in the week and the title seemed appropriate with the year coming to an end and the episode inspired me to write this post.

If you’ve never watched the The O.C then the basic premise of the series is the story of Ryan, a boy from a broken home living on the wrong side of the tracks. He is kicked out of his home and is taken in by Sandy (the father) and adopted into the Cohen family who are wealthy and live a lavish life in Orange County (The O.C). As the series goes on he goes from one drama to the next as you would expect. At the end he goes on to become a well off architect and in the very last scene he sees a boy lost and in the same situation he found himself in all those years ago. He says “Hey kid! You need help?” and the scene ends…

It got me thinking about what I’ve done this year and who I want to become in the new year. I’ve asked myself “How many people have I helped this year? And “How can I be more helpful in 2018?” I honestly think the question “Do you need help?” is seriously underrated especially in our day and age where everyone is trying to do what they can for themselves and only worrying about themselves before others. Don’t get me wrong I know we’ve always got to think of sorting ourselves out but I’m talking about taking time maybe once a day to help somebody. We can all relate to this as we all have been in a position to extend a helping hand and on the flipside we’ve all needed help from someone.            This year I decided to start a blog. I honestly didn’t know what to do or how I was going to do it and I genuinely feel like so many people out there want to start a blog but they don’t know how.

I’ve noticed that so many people want to do something great, something extra, something that helps them step out of their comfort zone and allows them to pursue what they are passionate about whether it be a blog, a YouTube channel or something else. There are so many people who don’t know how to go about it and they need help or that extra push to get out and actually do it. I’ve found that trying to break into the fashion blogger world a bit frustrating sometimes as one does not know what to do and how to get to where you want to be. Luckily there is lots of information about fashion blogging out there but when it comes down to the nitty gritty little how to work with brands I feel there’s much les information out there. Heading into 2018 I definitely want to start taking the blog to the next level and hopefully achieve all of my goals along the way. During the year I will definitely share the journey with you for any other beginner bloggers reading this.

I hope we all make the rest of our year the best of our year! Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2018!!!
